1. Installation

IMPORTANT: Winzip Users, in order to extract this correctly, you will have to click on the "extract" button and make sure "Use Folder Names" is selected and then unzip it using that menu. DO NOT JUST DRAG THEM ONTO A FOLDER. It won't work. If you do, the files won't unzip in their correct directories, they'll unzip in one directory.

Unzip everything in the zip file into the "data files" directory in your Morrowind directory. Your Morrowind directory is usually in C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Morrowind. After you have the files copied, start the Morrowind Launcher and click on "data files". Select "All New Faces.esp" from the menu and start the game.

To change your face on an already established character, while you are in the game hit the tilde ( ~ ) key, which will bring down the console. Type in "enableracemenu" (without the quotations) and select your new face. You can only do this one time per playing session, so if you aren't happy with your face, you will have to close Morrowind and do it again.

2. About This Mod

This mod replaces all of the faces in Morrowind, besides the khajiit males and females, and orc females. The faces come from a large number of other mods that I have downloaded. The mods have been grouped into one, cut down, built up, and polished. The faces are arranged in an order so that the best ones are used by NPCs. It is my intentention to make this the onlly faces file you would need to install to replace all of the Bethesda ones. With that said, you can install as many other texture files as you want and they should work just fine. It is not my intention to steal anyone's work. I will be the first person to tell you I'm not nearly as talented as those guy who made the mods that went into this. Full credits are in the section 4. of the readme.

3. FAQs About the Mod

Are there any bugs or issues with this mod?

There is one very minor bug with imperial female heads during race selection. It seems that there is a bald head in there and I do not know how to get it out. Its not actually a hairstyle, its just a hairstyle with no mesh file attached to it. I don't know how or why it's there. Just some freak occurance that I can't explain. Don't worry though, you won't see any bald, earless imperial females in game. There may be some other bugs or issues with some hair being ugly, but rest assure that its just a race selection thing. After it's over you'll never see those anomalies again.

Your mod overwrote some faces that I really loved. How do I get them back?

Recopy all the files from the zip of the mod (not mine, the mod with the faces that you like)
How compatible is this with other mods?

Basically 100%.. The only thing another mod will do is maybe overwrite one of the faces or add more.. The "Super Adventurer's Mod" actually adds a few more female Breton faces and hairstyles to the mod.

I use that mod! How do I remove them?

I use that mod too. I think it is the best mod anyone has ever made for Morrowind.. Better than any of the Bestheda patches (it includes them anyways ;] ). Anyways, to get those out of your game, you need (not necessarily, but its much much easier) a program called Tesame. You can find it here. If that link is broken just search for it on any Morrowind mods download site like Morrowind Summit. Tesame is just an easy way to edit mods. Start Tesame and open the Super Adventurer's mod. Yes there are thousands of files, I know. Click on the word "type" on the type collum to sort by type. Find "body" (just select an entry and hit b on your keyboard to get to the Bs) and find the entries that say "b_n_kats_head_01" and "b_n_kats_hair_01" (or something.. i already deleted them =]).. Anyways, it will be the only entries with the words "kats" in them. Right click them and mark all! the entries with the word "kat" in them (there are like 15 I think) and then hit delete. The end.

I know of some other faces that I think are better than the ones in your mod, or atleast they should be added. Are you going to update and make new versions of this mod?

Yes I am. As I find bugs, things that I think need changing, and new texture packs, I will update this mod. If you know of a texture pack that you think might need to be added e-mail me and tell me. Also, if you don't like where some of the hair is or think some of the races should get hair that the other races have. Feel free to go into the construction set and edit them.

This mod is corrupt, whats up with that?

I have no idea. Please e-mail me and tell me what exactly is happening.

Do you care if I change this around and re-release it?

No I don't, but you need to contact the authors in the credits section.

Do you have any suggestions for a fellow modder?

Yep, finish your mods. Don't release betas to a major site. Test them yourself until you can't find a bug anywhere and then upload it to some friends or post a link to it on the forums and have them beta test it for you. If it's a faces mod, back up your textures/meshes (or whatever directories it uses) and then copy just the files you for your mod and then see if it works. The next time I download a mod from a major Morrowind mod site and I see "THIS IS A BETA" in the readme I'm going to rip out a nun's throat.

Do you have any other mods?

Yes check out part 6 of the readme.

Did I see a big afro on that Redguard?

Huh?

That nord at the top is leet.

That is my character ^_^

Do you think you're special or something having an html readme?

Yes.

However, the real talent behind this mod comes from those who put together these texture packs. I had no contact with these guys at all. I don't know them, but I do know that they have talent:

First and foremost, Rhedd; the guy who started it all.

I think I speak for the Morrowind community when I say, thank you for your amazing hard work that makes this game so much more immersive and incredible for everyone.

Due to the daunting size and scope of my mod, I may have missed some credits. If there are any modders work that I have overlooked purely by accident, please e-mail me and I will gladly add you to my readme.

Super Adventurer's Mod
I can say that this is one of the two best mods ever created for Morrowind. It's right up there next to Redd's Heads. I don't think people should be allowed to play this game without this mod.
This mod changes things about the the game to make it more immersive and realistic. It's the mod that Bestheda should be coming out with. It balances the game, comes with all official Bethesda plug-ins (also debugged), adds an incredibly beautiful new armor called "Knights Armor", adds female guards (which are very nice to look at ala Rhedd's Heads.. also helps because all the guards are no longer reminiscent of clone troopers), adds other NPCs that should be there. There is just too much to explain. Check out the ReadMe and see if it doesn't make you a believer.

Eventide Companion

I'm hoping to make this a very well polished companion mod. My hopes are that it will be the best and most widely used companion mod.
