InfoJet EditPart How to Install
Please following the steps below to install InfoJet EditPart.
Installation Steps for InfoJet EditPart
  • Install InfoJet EditPart Web Parts
    Please uninstall the earlier version of InfoJet EditPart.
    Run InfoJet EditPart.msi, and install EditMenu and EditPane contained in it to the target virtual server, then do an iisreset. Please delete InfoJetSoft.EditPart.dll in Temporary ASP.NET Files directory if any error occurs.
  • Create InfoJet EditPart.aspx Web Part Page
    First create a document library named InfoJetSoft, and add a Web Part Page named "InfoJet EditPart.aspx" to this document library. Users of form libraries should have perms to access the web part page. InfoJetSoft document library should be accessible for the users of form libraries.
  • Add EditPane Web Part into InfoJet EditPart.aspx
    Open InfoJet EditPart.aspx, click "Modifying Shared Page", and drag InfoJet EditPart EditPane Web Part into one of the zones of the Web Part Page.
  • Add EditMenu Web Part into form library view
    Open a form library view that will use InfoJet EditPart to edit InfoPath forms in it. If you cannot see the Web Part Library, add "?ToolPaneView=2" afer the url of the form Library view in the Address textbox, open it with the new url, and drag the InfoJet EditPart EditMenu into the Web Part zone.
    "Add New Form with InfoJet EditPart" Button and "Edit with InfoJet EditPart" Menu Item will link to "InfoJet EditPart.aspx". Please use Custom Property "EditPart Page Url" of EditMenu in Miscellaneous Category to customize the link to "InfoJet EditPart.aspx". The link default is http://Site/InfoJetSoft/InfoJet EditPart.aspx.
    Repeat this step in other form library view that will integrate InfoJet EditPart.
  • Register InfoPath Form Templates
    By clicking "New Form with InfoJet EditPart" or "Edit with InfoJet EditPart", the form template of current form library will be registered into InfoJet Service automatically. Please access InfoJet EditPart via the absolute address of the virtual site, while not the relative address such as http://localhost.
InfoJet EditPart Manager Installation
  • Install InfoJet EditPart Manager Web Part
    InfoJet EditPart.msi also contains a Web Part named "InfoJet EditPart Manager". You can remove unused InfoPath Form Templates by it.
    Please create a Web Part Page named "InfoJet EditPart Manager.aspx" in InfoJetSoft document library, then add InfoJet EditPart Manager WebPart into it.
