Contact not listed in popup button or contact listed with error

Hourly lets you select a contact for projects, expenses and invoices. If a contact is not listed in the Contact popup button for projects or invoices, select the contact or contacts from the Contacts view and click the Client checkbox. If a contact is not listed in the Contact popup button for expenses, select the contact or contacts from the Contacts view and click the Supplier checkbox.

If you click the Client or Supplier checkboxes after you have selected a contact for projects, expenses or invoices, you may see an error message (<Person: 0x...) in the contact popup button. Select the contact or contacts from the Contacts view and click the Client or Supplier checkboxes.

If you can't see your contact list, click the Contacts button or choose View > Contacts.

To set multiple contacts as clients or suppliers:

  1. Click the Contacts button or choose View > Contacts.
  2. Select the contact or contacts you want to set as clients or suppliers.
  3. You can change more than one contact at a time by selecting multiple items. For more information about selecting multiple items, see Selecting items.

  4. Click the Client or Supplier checkboxes.
