3. follow the rest of the instructions in the FAQ.html file.

The following message is given in its normal english form:

Dearest Mary,

I love you very much; my heart longs for you. When can I see you again? It must have been months now, since I last laid my eyes on you. I can't stop dreaming about you. I need you. Let's run away; I know your mother hates me, and your dad will kill me if ever he got the chance. Its the only logical thing we can do, for I must always be with you, and with no other, for my heart is with you, and there also I must be. Let us run away. Meet me at Scorpion Bridge in Leyworth Town at 9:00 pm. Tell your mother your friend Agnes is sick with a fever. I shall pick you up by the bridge and take you with me to a neighbouring country. I love you so much; I will do anything for you.

Your undying love,

Steve.

In geckomapper, all text to be encrypted MUST be CAPITALIZED. So, the above text must be given as:

STEVE.

You can now generate an encrypted form of the letter above by copying the message line-by-line and pasting each line on the encrypter textbox and click "add sentence". Continue like this until the whole message has been encrypted, then click "view encryption" to see the encrypted message. The encrypted version of this message looks like this:

Obviously, the encrypted form of this message is unreadable, hence only Mary and her lover, Steve, can understand the messages they will be sending between each other. Of course, you cannot possibly learn the entire algorithm  for the encryption key, but you should always use the translator which is part of the software, to decode messages encrypted using geckomapper.

Note: geckomapper only supports TEXT  messages. Messages containing special symbols and/or mathematical operators will not be properly encrypted/translated. The only supported signs are normal english punctuation and file and email symbols.
