Preferences: Chords IPlay Harmonics 1x, 2x, 3x as Long as Arpeggios: Usually when playing chords using the harmonic direction, they wouldn't sound long enough when played exactly as long (i.e. 1x) as a single note of the sequentially played chords (ascending, descending). You can set this to be generally longer by using 2x or 3x. Play Chord Within one Octave: If this is set, all notes of a chord will be played within the same octave. Otherwise the chord will be spread out across two octaves. The setting for the bass note (below) is not touched by this. Double the Bass Note for Triads: If set, the bass note of a chord will be played again one (or two) octave(s) higher. That way it is not possible to distinguish triads from seventh chords by counting the notes. Play Bass Note one Octave Lower: The bass note will be dropped by one octave, settings it more apart from the rest of the chord. |
