You can set the following preferences for the sound:
Here you can specify the instrument sound which should be used by default for a newly created instrument. The instrument sound you choose will be pre-selected in the "Sounds like" field in the Instrument Editor for a new instrument. Of course, you can still change this setting for a new instrument. Click Test to play the selected instrument sound.
Here you can specify how the keyboard shall sound. Click Test to play the keyboard sound you have selected.
Here you can specify the sound of a played chord, scale or test sequence. It is possible to define the tone length, the tone distance as well as the play pattern.
Here you can specify how long the tones shall sound if you play freely in the Fretboard or Keyboard View.
Here you can specify the volume.
Note: This setting is independent from the volume settings of your operating system.
So, if you can�t hear anything, there is either a problem with your sound card or the sound in your operating system is turned off.
